Dunne Solicitors is led by Jacquelyn Dunne, a warm, approachable and highly experienced solicitor who founded the practice in Kildorrery in 2013.
Jacquelyn is known for her practical, down-to-earth approach to legal advice, helping clients feel informed, supported and at ease through some of life’s biggest decisions. Her areas of expertise include property transactions, wills, probate and estate planning, with a particular focus on making complex legal processes feel clear, manageable and personal.
Alongside her work with clients, Jacquelyn has built a large and engaged following on Instagram, where she shares legal tips, advice and easy-to-understand videos that help people feel more confident about their legal affairs. Her ability to explain important topics in a straightforward, relatable way has become a key part of her work and her connection with the wider community.

Sharon McSweeney
Sharon McSweeney brings over 20 years of experience in the legal profession and is a highly respected member of the team at Dunne Solicitors. Having worked in a number of busy legal practices throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in client relations, legal administration, and supporting the efficient management of legal matters.
Sharon is known for her professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach. Her confidence, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence ensure that clients receive a high standard of service and support throughout their legal journey.
Sharon and Jacquelyn first worked together at the firm where Jacquelyn completed her solicitor training, establishing a trusted professional relationship that has continued for many years. As an integral part of the practice, Sharon plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the firm and is dedicated to providing a friendly, efficient, and professional service to every client.
Committed to her ongoing professional development, Sharon will commence a Diploma in Legal Executive Studies in October 2026, further enhancing her knowledge and expertise within the legal sector. -
Tracy Cassidy
Tracy joined Dunne Solicitors in 2025 and brings with her valuable experience gained working in law firms in Scotland. She assists with client enquiries, office administration and the day-to-day running of the practice.
Known for her friendly and approachable manner, Tracy is often one of the first people clients speak to when contacting the office and is always happy to assist with any queries.
Jacquelyn is also the creator of The Journey, a thoughtful planning resource designed to help people organise their personal, legal and practical information in one place.
Since its launch, The Journey has been a huge success, reflecting Jacquelyn’s passion for empowering people to plan ahead with clarity, care and confidence.
